Our Defence focus is on building direct relationships with the Defence Infrastructure Organisation, Defence estate partners, prime contractors and specialist consultants to identify packages where our heritage capability can add real value - particularly the restoration and sensitive adaptation of historic military buildings and infrastructure.

Lincolnshire is especially important to us because of its exceptional RAF aviation and Bomber Command heritage. We are particularly interested in opportunities to conserve, restore and bring continued purpose to significant and irreplaceable military assets, from historic hangars and technical buildings to station infrastructure and other structures associated with the county’s aviation history, at Grade I, II and II*, as well as Schedueld Ancient Monuments across the Defence Estate. Through the Lincolnshire RDSC, we want to connect our specialist delivery capability with the organisations responsible and accountable for maintaining and investing in this nationally important Defence estate.
